16G 25G 32G and 40G DWDM transceivers

The modulations used for 25G and 40G Ethernet or 16G and 32G Fiber Channel do not allow long-distance transmissions.

25G, 32G and 40G are limited to 10km and FC16G to 40km. For longer distances, it will be necessary to use EDFA amplification and DCM chromatic correction.

For 25G speeds, it may be interesting to transport them on DWDM 100G (4 25G accesses to a 100G DWDM channel)

Conversely, 40G data rates can be carried over 4 10G DWDM channels.
